Zyn01 - Lyn Zyn sterling silver, 14kt gold,
labradorite, varisite, green tree turquoise fish necklace;
2008 A confidently smirking fish is surrounded by gold-accented waves of the ocean ... we are smitten!!! This one-of-a-kind show-stopper conveys its wearer's unmistakable "Big Fish" status in no uncertain terms! There is so much to appreciate in this necklace. The surface texture of the fish and waves comes from the construction technique. Lyn uses tufa casting – each link is created by first carving a mold in tufa stone. Molten silver poured into the mold creates a textured sheet. The piece is then cut, and the design overlaid on another cast sheet of silver using the same process. The fish carries several discs of labradorite and a single bright round of natural green tree turquoise. The clasp is reversible – one side varisite stone and the other, one of Lynn’s signature faces. The innumerable details of this necklace have been meticulously conceived and executed, giving fresh pleasure in discovering new delights every time the necklace is worn. We invite you to view Lynn’s matching fish bracelet (Zyn02) which is as whimsical, attention-grabbing and “out there” as this wonderful necklace. |
