The second natural Lander Blue turquoise bracelet the Huntress collaborated with Sam to bring to fruition features an intensely blue stone nearly 1.88” long. Sam set this massive cab of Lander in a modified “Georgia”* [O’Keefe] style setting which showcases the stone to maximal effect. All in all, you are getting the best of the Southwest – Sam Patania jewelry and turquoise you will rarely, if ever, see in person.

* Sam Patania provided history of the “Georgia” cuff design saying: “... the cuffs were named for Georgia O'Keefe because they are featured in the photograph by the very famous photographer and boyfriend of Georgia's, Alfred Stieglitz. The Stieglitz photo I have on my studio wall was a print from the National Gallery’s (Washington DC) Stieglitz show from 1983. The famous artist’s connection is at least two deep just from that photo. Stieglitz was married during the time that Georgia was his girlfriend and the whole affair was just left un-talked about since they were both such famous artists. Georgia was at the very least an acquaintance, if not a friend, of my grandparents and great aunt Mirandi. She [Georgia] would use the shop on the plaza as a base of operations for coming into town (Santa Fe) and was able to safely leave items at the shop while she continued shopping. The shop was used like that by many famous and not so famous people all during the time it was open. The scientists from Los Alamos did that as well and were well known to my grandparents.”
