Michael's abstract creations incorporate elements that float and flow on textured backgrounds. His work draws inspiration from his own life, and his people's traditions and heritage. A similar representation of the Navajo face by Michael resides in the private collection of the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture in Santa Fe.
