Here is another exquisite piece of jewelry personally made by Frank Patania, Sr. and bearing the coveted FP oval hallmark. The piece is superbly crafted with natural turquoise bursting with brilliant blue color. Frank Sr. incorporated these superb stones, now highly collectible and nearly impossible to find since American mines are nearly depleted, in an Art Deco motif that contrasts the brilliant turquoise with a very European aesthetic. Each stone is artfully bezel set with a unique variation of two stones being freeform while the 3 major stones are fully “cabbed”. In gently worn condition, this design departure from the typical Patania look is destined for the serious collector of Patania jewelry.
