Iconic Art Smith cuff swirls dimensional blackened and burnished copper ovoid eddies around a peek-a-boo cutout ‘held’ by a hand-wired grid. Massive in size, yet graceful, surprisingly lightweight and easy to wear. Smith was an avid jazz enthusiast whose biomorphic, body-conscious, surrealist pieces attracted an aesthetically sophisticated following among New York’s hipster jazz musicians and scene-makers from the mid‘40’s through the early ‘80’s. The ultimate showstopper, this cuff carries that uber-cool Village vibe.
