Marvelous Art Nouveau beaded bellflower set by master silversmith Alfredo Villasana who worked for Spratling and Hector Aguilar before going out on his own in the 1950’s. Elaborate repousse work imparts bold dimensionality, creating a texture that invites the touch. Softly burnished patina sets off high relief elements of the design, contrasting with the aged oxidation settled gracefully into the incised and background areas. These pieces come to life when worn, drawing the eye irresistibly and bathing the wearer in a magnificent glow. An elegant and beautifully made heirloom set in wonderful vintage condition!
