VIC005 Vintage Victoria sterling silver belt
buckle, (pre-‘eagle’) circa- late 1940’s Fantastic buckle displaying an incised and nielloed Pre-Columbian scroll design reminiscent of the stepped-fret spirals (Xicalcoliuhqui) of ancient Mexico. Fascinated by Mexican art and history, Ana Nunez de Brilanti drew design inspiration from ancient motifs found on Pre-Columbian clay stamps and architecture. This buckle would look fabulous carried on black suede, velvet or dark burnished leather. The Huntress would be pleased to assist you in recommending expert sources to custom-tailor this piece to your specifications. |
