Japanese-inspired black and white enamel pendant necklace recalling the black ink, single color early ukiyo-e which Margot adored and avidly collected.  Cultivated in Japan since the 8th century and a favorite subject for Japanese paintings and woodblocks, chrysanthemums symbolize dignity, longevity and nobility.  The most exquisite of these flowers are displayed and celebrated each Fall at Japan’s Festival of Happiness (Kiku Matsuri).  Margot’s scrolling leaves surround a single, elegant flower in a design that is both lavish and refined.  A sophisticated piece to captivate the artistic mind and eye, this pendant looks spectacular on!
