Janna Thomas was a New York City designer whose workshop in Taxco employed skilled silversmiths trained under Spratling and Antonio to produce her exclusive designs. Retail customers for Janna's silver included Tiffany's, among others. Janna's workshop operated from 1965 until her death in 1980. This early set embodies a freewheeling '60's vibe with its complex interlocking geometry, over-scaled yet lightweight and comfortable to wear. Exquisitely crafted, from the ornate twisted rope chain to the perfectly balanced, precision-cut silver forms that dance and tease. Janna's big statement pieces are loads of groovy fun to wear!
