One of the most striking of Hector Aguilar’s designs, the “Old Maguey” is rare and highly sought by serious collectors.  The matching brooch is featured in Morrill and Berk’s “Mexican Silver”, page 102, Plate VII-8a.  This older bracelet’s unusual 990 silver content means that it was crafted from almost pure silver.   It is a treasure to cherish and wear.  Condition is superb and this particular piece carries a remarkable essence that speaks of the adoration of its previous owners.  “Love at first sight” doesn’t only apply to human relationships …
