A superb, high Deco look dripping with sophisticated glamour, Fred Davis’s signature amethyst and silver Chevron was first designed c. 1930. This parure boasts not one but two matched bracelets to trail languidly from each wrist. The perfectly proportioned necklace encircles one 'just so' to light up the face, transforming its wearer into a silvery goddess. Colossal cabochons adorning the necklace and each of the bracelet clasps mesmerize with their unfathomable purple depths and mysterious inclusions. The Chevron set is featured in “Mexican Silver” Plate II-14, by Morrill and Berk. Utterly bewitching to wear, this extra-complete set makes a once-in-a-lifetime find!
