Antonio’s much-acclaimed comma motif nestles lush curves like flower petals against the throat. Each segment is set with a splendid amethyst cabochon. The same soft curves and cabochons accent the ears to enchanting effect. This sensuous ensemble, one of Antonio’s best known designs and a collector’s favorite, appears in Morrill and Berk’s Mexican Silver as Plate XII-13.
