Antonio is known for working with powerfully formed, simple and dimensional shapes. His pieces become sculptures on the wrist and body. This bracelet soars dramatically off the wrist, its buckle shape anchored by a huge and fabulous amethyst quartz that cleverly hides the latch. Although inscribed with the date “April 20, 1947,” the hallmarks suggest this bracelet may actually have been made later; perhaps the inscription commemorates a special date for a previous owner. Commanding and architectural, this uncompromisingly beautiful design is nonetheless surprisingly light on the wrist. Every aspect testifies to Antonio's artistic and architectural genius. Showstopper piece that's impossible to ignore!
