AP001 – Antonio Pineda for Tiffany’s necklace made from 970 silver (a higher grade than sterling silver), circa-1980’s, SOLD Origin: Taxco, Mexico This signature necklace design is feature as Plate XII-8 in “Mexican Silver” by Morrill and Berk. While it has been copied by numerous silversmiths, this finely crafted necklace bears the appropriate hallmarks for pieces produced by Antonio’s silversmiths for Tiffany’s. This can be confirmed in Bille Hougart’s, “The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks”. The necklace will be accompanied by the original Tiffany’s box and felt pouch. A fabulous necklace - perfect for the demands of Manhattan, the rhythm of life in the Southwest, or a stroll down Rodeo Drive. |
